Bytemark Appoints Alvin Mayers Director, Payments

Bytemark is excited to add Alvin Mayers to our team as Director, Payments.

The Morehouse College graduate boasts subject matter expertise in payment architecture and strategic relationships gained during two decades in the payment space.

“Alvin is an exceptional communicator and true payments aficionado. I am excited to have him lead our transition from operational payments to 'Payments as a Service' that will bring lower costs, reduce held risk, and add real value for our customers,” says Eric Reese, CEO of Bytemark.

Before joining Bytemark, Mayers served as Principal Consultant-Payments for Argus Technology Group in Atlanta, where he managed complex innovations and transformations for big merchants, banks, and financial institutions.

Prior to that, his experience includes stints as SVP, Product Strategy, at Cynergy Data and Vice President/Director, Product Strategy, at TSYS. Mayers holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
