Bytemark provides mobile ticketing for Sacramento Regional Transit District


On Friday, September 1st the new mobile app for Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT), ZipPass, went live. ZipPass has replaced the former app, RideSacRT, as the new way for riders across Sacramento to purchase bus and light rail fare directly from their smart phones. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android, allowing riders to set up a secure account to purchase, save and use tickets.Thanks to Bytemark’s award winning technology, the mobile app will eliminate the need to stand in line at fare vending machines or at the Customer Service and Sales Center. The ability to purchase SacRT fare anywhere at any time using a smartphone is a valued convenience for all riders.
