Marcus is a passionate and engaged leader with more than 12 years of experience in the transportation industry. He believes that innovation and digitalization in the mobility arena –technologies such as mobile ticketing, multimodal travel and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) applications - will re-invent the way people travel in cities and urban areas. Marcus believes that Bytemark’s payment offerings will more easily enable cities to integrate all modes of transport into one intermodal ecosystem – empowering people not just from point A to B, but now from A to Z using intelligent software to enable true intermodal travel.
Marcus also serves as CEO of Siemens Intelligent Traffic Systems in North America, a position which has given him keen insight into the technological advances in mobility and the evolving needs of cities and municipalities trying to incorporate them He is committed to diversity, inclusion and talent development and looks forward to further evolving global capabilities and capacity.
Marcus holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Munich University of Applied Science and a Master of Science Degree in Energy Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Chief Business Development Officer, Co-founder
Greg drives business growth by working with our leadership, business partners, and clients to refine Bytemark’s offerings and strategy as we continue to grow. He leads customer support, manages the company's sales and marketing opportunities and pushes Bytemark’s platform toward an outstanding user experience. Greg also spent 6 years with Apple, Inc. in various rolls where he first met Micah. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Iowa, and a Certificate of Technical Entrepreneurship from the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center.
Chief Technology Officer, Co-founder
Nick is the Bytemark Chief Technology Officer and engineer. He has been involved with interactive media, design, and software development for over a decade. His passion is to bring cohesive and robust customer experiences to the Bytemark line of products and services. He currently oversees a variety of initiatives of new technology research and product alignment, and cultivates new teams. He has prior experiences in building e-commerce, marketing, logistics, B2B, and B2C applications for a number of service agencies and internationally-known clients. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art and Design, and is well versed in a number of programming languages, system operations, development methodologies, and business processes.
